The 'biggles'

I have found myself referring to the younger two kids as the littles thus that would leave the older two to be the 'biggles' right? Either way here they are and with our further adieu, we have a missing tooth! Jonas lost his first tooth yesterday and is VERY excited about that! He has been wiggling and wiggling his teeth for some months now hoping that there would be one really to come out. Well, the day finally arrived and he is now sporting a toothless grin.
As we get more and more settled here in our 'new' house we are also getting into a bit more of a routine which is very helpful when you are homeschooling. Some of the things that we have gotten back into the habit of doing are our spanish & science class (we are working through anatomy right now) and the evening reading of a chapter book which happens to be The Swiss Family Robinson. It has been a great book thus far and we are all enjoying it myself as the 'reader' and even Mabri has been following along.
In Kiera's literature reading she has been going through the Little House Series. With the all of the frontier reading that has been going on around here the kids play has been reflecting that and it is fun to hear how their stuffed animals are fairing as the forge new territories. It is such a privilege to teach my own kids at home and it is even more of a treat when there is a space in the house designated for that purpose!

I'm back! :D

How fun for Jonas. I remember Caleb wiggling and wiggling his first tooth too...he was so intrigued by it. Nice that Jonas was finally able to "pry" it loose and nice for Mum not to have to see her son's hands constantly in his mouth. ;)

Kiera looks more grown up to me and it's only been four months...how can that be!?

Grateful to keep up with your family in this way. I'll have to show E&C your newest post; they'll be excited to see and hear about the "biggles".

Love you...littles, biggles and parents of the aforementioned!
